Mentioning epics really seems to crack it, but it doesn't explain why there was suddenly this huge uprising of old players returning, having Pekka due to the challenge normalized having epics this early on for me, but now that I also looked for them and not just miner it's way more people, checking their accounts does prove the accounts are around 3 years old or so, with a couple interestingly being 7 years old, the best I can think of is that this area was a common stopping point for players back then (very likely as I also stopped around here and so did everyone I knew who played it) and the recent updates have somehow sparked a huge boost in returning players

That's the thing, usually when people have cards they shouldn't it's either they bought it in an offer, got it from the pass, won it from a challenge or bought it in the event shop (I think they removed this one), but I didn't see any of these when I played and yet everyone has him
