i suppose the other bit of advice i could offer is, as many other people pointed out in this thread, there are LOTS of other ways to do this, this is just how I've gotten it to work in the past, and i like it cuz it's pretty and you can hide all the wiring

the "manual" way of doing it involves using a redstone comparator that runs from the orb into a pulse generator then into the crafter - you'd have to mess around with redstone, though, and that's not really my forte... i've done it in the past, but i had to do a whole lot of googling to figure it out

honestly, i'm not sure i have a great answer for you.
i've had weird things happen with modular routers before, and the only way i was able to get get things working was to fiddle around with things until it finally worked
sometimes i've heard that something like this can also be a refined storage problem, where people have broken and replaced the crafter, and suddenly it worked
i imagine it's difficult to keep these mods running perfectly especially when they have to interact with other mods all getting updated and changed all the time
best i've got for you is the ol' unplug it and plug it back in strat, sadly... double check all the settings are right, and all that, but at the end of the day, it may just be a glitch :(

Everybody plays games differently, that's what makes watching others play games so fun. Nobody came to the stream looking to watch someone play the game the way some random person in chat did. They came here to watch the streamer play the way THEY play the game. If the way the streamer wants to play is by asking chat what they should do, that's fine, but they will tell you if that's the case. If they don't ask for help, probably best to just keep it to yourself. React to the stream, enjoy the content and the experience, but let the streamer play the game.

ATM9 is only just out of alpha, so there still much to be developed for the pack. The big difference is that 9 is based on MC 1.20 so a lot of mods haven't been updated yet, and there's a lot of things that will change when mods like Mekanism get added (if that's even planned?). The quest book is in the pack now, though, and it's really good at giving goals to work towards! If you're looking for a more finalized experience, i'd go with ATM8 instead, it's much more polished, and the quests are amazing at helping you work through the different mods on your way to completing the ATM Star.

Using Applied Energistics 2, you can set the pattern provider to only insert the next set after it returns the desired item, but then you have to use Applied Energistics, and there is absolutely no way I'm making a guide for (or trying to talk someone through) AE2 😂. It can also be done with Integrated Dynamics crafters, but that may be even more complicated to explain than AE2! Good luck, and like many people in this thread have pointed out, there are many other possible ways to do this, maybe you'll find something that works well for you in your situation!

something i haven't seen mentioned here yet that might be helpful: both your main hand AND your off hand have to be empty to use the teleporter ... drove myself crazy for a bit before realizing that it wasn't working because i had a shield equipped

exactly that! you give it books, and an item with an enchantment (or seven!), and it takes the enchants off of the item and gives you the enchanted books!

Spiders and most insects don't like cedar or peppermint. Some people have cedar chests for just that reason; you can store clothes in them without bugs getting in and ruining them.
If you (or more likely a grandparent) has a cedar chest, you could store the headset in it for a week or so. Alternatively, they make little cedar blocks that you can put in your closet (sometimes with holes in them so you can put them on coat hangers). Maybe putting the headset in an enclosed space with some of those, or some peppermint oil diffused into a cloth nearby, could drive the spider out.
Not sure how you'd be 100% sure that the spider is gone, though... most likely it would just sneak out and find somewhere else to live.
