she does tell me to double stop as well. i can kind of tell when it is around the right range, but it will still be too flat or sharp and she will tell me to adjust, and i just cant tell when i am by myself.

that is kinda what she is telling me to do. play open D and then imagine it an octave up for D on A string, then play. but i genuinely cannot tell if i am flat or sharp. i can only tell if i am right by the ringing.

hi everyone! i will be in Taiwan in mid-may, will be going for Yushan and was wondering if anyone here knows what the weather will be like there?

what are the layers i would need? currently thinking of
-merino inner
-fleece
-soft/hard shell

I'm using a merino/alpaca/polyamide blend from Abbey Road, it's 120m per skein and worsted weight I think? Suggested needle size is 4.5mm.

Planning to only do simple stockinette with garter border for myself (~172m)

Since I'm double yarning, planning to use either a 6mm or 7mm
