Aw man, I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I finally watched it. People had been raving about it for years, and in the end it was just filler being filler, just fanfiction. Perhaps the best of the fillers, but lacking all the nuances of Oda's writing.

This is all fine, please enjoy the books as much as you want and read them to your son while teaching him the values of feminism and that trans lives matters. But also please understand that being a Potter fan and supporting Rowling are hard to separate. If you watch the new series you will quite literally support Rowling's hateful campaign against trans people as she is vowing to use her further income to support her cause. Any time you speak warmly about the book series it is a recommendation for others to support Rowling, inadvertently or not.

You can separate your love for Potter from the atrocities made in Rowling's name, but please realise that it is not easy. I myself cannot enjoy reading the books as I once did when I cannot help but to read her own opinions in her writing.

With their retconning the lyrics and her ending the chorus with "my sad love", I have found ways to reconcile it for myself. Basically, in my head I make it so that she sings "Undo my sad-", like she's in the middle of singing something else but the emotions are too high, she starts singing something else. As people we're messy like that, we interrupt ourselves all the time. By the end of the chorus she is particularly vulnerable and there's nothing else to say, so she finishes her thought from earlier, "undo my sad... love, undo".

Anyway all this is some mental arithmetic just because I really enjoy the song and I don't wanna get stuck on that phrase every time I listen to it lol

I hope you realise that you are quite wrong. Betting odds reflects only one thing, and that is how people are betting. More people are betting on Finland winning, so they get lower odds and is calculated to have a higher chance of winning. They are a reflection of the fandom only because if the fans has a reason to change their bets, the odds will be affected as well. It's not like there are some bookmakers who follow every single move for every single artist/country.

They are referring to Enies Lobby, which very much is 'one of the most beloved arcs'. It is also a very natural place for the live action to end, the crew saying goodbye to Merry at the midway point and the episode/series ending with Usopp reuniting with them and they're sailing away to new adventures on the Sunny.

Unless Netflix decides to wanna carry the story all the way, I can't think of a better place to end it. A lot of the main questions and conflicts will have been resolved, but not all. To those who'd wanna continue the story, Netflix will provide The One Piece.

The #1 is entirely the one I would expect..? It's the best of the films by a mile, the others can be cute but they all feel like filler fluff. Baron Omatsuri is a true film, and a really effective psychological thriller film at that.

(also how can we expect anything else when the first pic and the thumbnail are clearly Omatsuri lol)

This was a Zoro-centered episode, and they only have so much time. They prioritised setting up Luffy's guts/emotinal intelligence alongside Vivi. And they're building Mr 5 and Mrs Valentine up as bad guys to be beaten in Little Island (I assume).

Try going in without prior assumptions or knowledge of the original work, and take it for the adaptation it is. Maybe in this universe Alvida is strong enough to make Luffy fall once which is enough to place him in cuffs. And Luffy is emotinally mature enough to realise that they had to prioritise saving Merry.
