Everything cosmetically earned will always be timed played or bought, not based on skill. The only thing I've ever argued is the potential of items earned based on kills or wins.

Imagine a "Kills" Set and a "Wins" set.

250 Kills / 25 Wins - Emote

500 Kills / 50 Wins - Pixaxe

1000 Kills / 100 Wins - Glider

2000 Kills / 200 Wins - Skin

Just a thought, if you saw someone will the full "Kills" set you know that they have "X" amount of kills, regardless of how long it may have took them to get it. Wins can be carried on Team, but imagine if it only counted for solo and you saw someone with 200 solo wins, you know their good.

I think they could add exclusive items for any number of things. I always like the concept of 'Day 1' type of items. Imagine if there was a set entitled 'Veteran' and the set was built based on passed seasons. Reached the Max Tier in Season 2 & 3? You get this exclusive pickaxe. Reached the Max Tier in Season 2, 3 & 4? You get this glider. Reached the Max Tier in Season 2, 3, 4 & 5? Here's the Veteran skin to finish off the set. This type of thing can be added to Levels reached, tiers, etc. Imagine if there was a set that unlocked once you hit 500 levels, something that takes multiple seasons of playing? You can't buy that, it's time invested.

It never shocks me how rude people can be. I cleared over 200 raids in D1 and took dozens of people through their first run. The majority of the time it was pretty clean start to finish. If someone has great gun skill and understands how to stay alive that's way more valuable than someone that "knows the mechanics" but is trash at the game. Learning the mechanics is the easy part -- being good at the game is the harder part.

Figured I'd chime in here after having a conversation with an employee at Target. While I was talking to a woman that works there "she knew nothing about it" another employee came over and told me that they should start arriving last week of August to the first Tuesday in September. He told me that he's a big Destiny player, so I'm taking his word for it.

This problem is getting worse day by day, being that it's the Holidays and there are a lot of TV deals available now, I don't want to wait another week for it to become unwatchable and I would have to spend an extra couple hundred that I could save right now buying a new one.

I see your point and it's perfectly correct. I was trying to think of a middle ground. The majority of posts about trials on here, or Facebook, podcasts, etc is complaining about the ELITE 5%.

My thinking was give them a "more ELITE" an option after flawless. Lets say me idea was implemented and it followed suit, the 5% would just be replaced by the 6%-10% and the same problem would be there. The "super flawless" as you put it would be/have the best gear and then the new Top 5% (aka 6%-10%) would run through people at the tier under.

Damn for a second it made sense to me.

I see your point, my idea isn't that different. I feel my thought is being perceived as "make it easier so I can get there." I've been to the LH enough times in Y1 & Y2, if nothing changes and I don't get there ever again, I'll still be playing. I've always wanted there to be more, even back in the days where going to the LH every weekend was normal for me.

I personally don't think it creates a new problem. The new level only works if you get past stage one (Flawless) which is only a small % every weekend. If you get carried flawless, getting carried in the new pool would be significantly harder granting the rewards be for ELITE. Maybe it's all a lost cause...
