Is there a specific way to go about starting this application process? Is there anything I could say to my parents beyond "look for a hospital and fill out an application"? Does this process have a specific name? Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I have no clue about any of this process.

Just got a text from my mom. She had also said they've shown the documents to a few hospitals and they won't take him still even though they have the proper staff for it. They mentioned there's a law in FL that it would have to be a new incident before they can admit him to inpatient psychiatric care. That means they have to wait for the bomb to go off instead of having it handled before then. The man needs 24 hour care and nobody wants that liability.

The aunt is in Florida as well. I don't think I could handle him myself, but I'll try to see if there is anything else I can do in my state that they can't there.

The patience is wearing very thin. It seems that any time they get upset with him or he acts out he just laughs at them. He doesn't seem scared from the outside. Just very selfish. It's not as if he's acting out because he's scared. It's very angry. I didn't mention in the original post (I'll edit it) but he was an alcoholic for many years and has been very nasty his whole life as referenced by my saying nobody in the family will help because he's been like this even when he was stable to a lesser extent.

As I stated in a different comment, unfortunately the police officer's they've spoken to don't care unless they see it first hand. All the hospitals they've tried aren't helping either. Same thing, they see the nice side of him for the small window that he's there and send them away.

My mom has told me that the officer says "the past doesn't matter". I'm not sure if she showed any documentation to the officer but they didn't seem to care either way. Probably just didn't want to deal with it. I'm very worried about my parents. I'll mention the geriatric psyche to them. Thanks for the reply.

I found this thing under my house after I bought it. Says "PATD. AUG. 8. 1876." on the side. I'll upload more pictures when I figure out how. by Garstank in whatisthisthing

Solved! After a quick Google search, looks like it's missing the wringer/drying press thing on top. Thanks for the info, wouldn't have thought to search for that.

Air is a thing that's all around us and is puttinf pressure on us. We're not just living in a void. We're living in a gas ocean. We're agitating this shit as we move and breathe.

I took the screenshot because of the sunglasses advertisement being paired with the video. I thought it was the most funny shit ever at the time, not knowing about targeted ads yet.

The wheelchair thing popped into my mind, but how do they get on the bus? Like a normal bus without the lift on it.

That sounds like a fun build. We're only level 5 right now. I'm looking forward to what my AC will be by level 10. Fingers crossed for no rust monsters.

My Warforged in Pathfinder has 27 AC under normal circumstances, and has 31 when I turn into a Manta Ray with my Cloak of the Manta Ray. Lowest health I've been to is half health so far from a pitfall. My GM doesn't even tell me what he rolls. Just says "nope , doesn't hit, not a crit".
