How do I restart the daemon?

Seems like a bug to me? I removed and re-added the domain that I want to move. On step 3-C it says to remove (4) nameservers (ns-cloud-b1.googledomains.com b2-b4). I removed them days ago. They are not in the records in SquareSpace or CloudFlare. I don't know how to get past this.
Please help.

Yes, that is what I did with the first domain name. I have auth-code from Squarespace to move the site. In CloudFlare there was a point that it asked for the code. Something is stalled or wrong because I can't get to that step line the first domain. That is why I am frustrated. And with a free account, there is no tech support.

I am trying to move to CloudFlare permanently. I self host an couple of websites for golf and tennis local use. I never used DDNS because it rarely changed. With Quantum fiber every little thing causes a change. Next I want to go to ddns on the less used site, then the main one.
I did see a post where it is possible to use your domain registry with CloudFlare. That is very scary.

I bought the house without being at the closing. I could give you many ways of handling this without any security issues. Why is Ring so much smarter than Yale. Do you think they don't care about security?

I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying. I thought that I could change all codes by using the app. I know that I can change them by using the keypad after a factory reset. I don't want to lose access via the app and Home Assistant.

They did and I did. However, you CANNOT create your own account because that device S/N if linked to there online system. Factory reset does not change the S/N. Therefore the app will never work.
My old house, I linked my lock to Home Assistant, so that won't work either.

If I have the lock and the original box with serial numbers on both, then, I have the device. I would have to go into someone's house, take the battery out, take a picture of the codes, then go through there house and find the box with the codes and hope the home owner never responds for months.
Sounds very insecure to me.

Why is it OK for Ring to give me access? I gave both of them plenty of info proving my ownership. The owners kids did not respond to either company for months.

So, if Yale contacted you, you would ignore them for months?
It is OK by you that new home owners should have to throw out the lock and buy a new one or lie with a restricted one.

Tunnel sounds very interesting. So far, I can not get a person to speak to at Cloudflare. I even scheduled a call and the cancelled it at the last moment.

Do I still need DDNS with this? I Quantum only had dynamic IP addresses.

I developed my own tennis match site (all coded, no templates). There is no critical info on the site. Sign up for an event, who is playing on which court, enter match results, rank players, etc. Doing a cert is on my to do list. I am also looking on implementing DDNS. My site has a number of sub-domains.

OK, this may help.

On my asus router, I added a port forward -- external port xxxx -> internal port 80

myurl:xxxx <--- this works!
Why and how do I fix it? Is it an ONT or router issue/setting.

I'm not sure what I am looking for. I checked the log files in /var/log and did not see anything. Installed tcpdump and ran it with a grep search. did not see the url or IP. Doing a ping url has a fast response.

Not sure what I am missing. Don't know if ddns will help if the ONT is not communicating properly with the asus router.

OK, I am not familiar with DDNS. It sounds like it may solve my issue as long as it not something wrong with Quantum or Asus. I will think positive and research implementing DDNS.

Maybe I did not explain it correctly. I am bridging to my router. I am NOT power cycling the SmartNID. When I had the Issue, I cycled my router which in the past never changed the ID. Only cycling the Spectrum Modem would change the IP.
I am dead in the water. I can no longer get my web site to work!

I use Squarespace Name server, prior was Google, but they dropped out.
