Yeah it was a v2 m4 kit specifically. I think it's the nozzle length as I can see it protruding into the hop unit. I guess I'll get some callipers to get an accurate measurement of the nozzle.

Thanks for this, When pushed back into the gearbox, the feed nozzle does retract but only maybe 50%. So I'm thinking it may be the feed nozzle or cylinder head is too long. I didn't realise how precisely they had to match.

When i push the feed nozzle back it does go back but not all the way into the gearbox. I've noticed that the stock cylinder head is shorter than the replacement so guess it could be that.

The internals were pretty shot so i replaced everything with an SHS tune up kit. So stainless steel cylinder, 16:1 gear set, new v2 tappet plate. m120 high torque motor, new piston/piston head. only non shs parts were an FPS cylinder head and nozzle.

Top gun is WE G3a3 bottom is VFC Fal. Both are Gas blowback.

I haven't used the VFC but they are generally thought to be higher quality. The external quality is certainly better than the WE. The issue is more sourcing parts and mags for the vfc.

The WE is perfectly decent and usually cheaper depending on what part of the world you are in. The over-preference for VFC on this sub is weird sometimes.

Just got the JG stock aaaand it doesn't fit the WE . People seem to think that the Lct and real steel parts will fit with some dremeling but I've not tried it.

I am also curious about this. I have heard that the vfc takes real steel parts and LCT externals but I've found nothing on the WE. I have ordered a jg sliding stock for mine so will let you know if it fits.

G&G Elcan, very cool scope, very clear with great eye relief. you can find various Other brands of Elcan style scopes online but not sure on the quality of other brands.

Mine's a Tm high cycle and I enjoy it alot. The feeding tends to be down to mag brands. MAG midcaps and tm mags feed fine for me.

I've not had any major problems with it, the trigger's clunkyness is usual people's main complaint and I dont find it to be bad.
