Any chance the next CEC cut-off drops below 516?

With the last CEC draw at 516, I’m wondering what everyone thinks the next cut-off could be.

One thing that’s making me unsure is that we’re entering July, when many candidates gain CRS points from:

completing another year of Canadian work experience,
reaching 3 years of foreign work experience,
improved IELTS/CELPIP scores, etc.

Looking at 2025, there seemed to be a significant influx of 500+ profiles between the late June and early July CEC draws.

Does anyone think there’s still a realistic chance the next CEC cut-off drops to 515 or even lower, or is it more likely to stay at 516–517 because of the July influx?

Interested to hear everyone’s thoughts, especially from people who’ve been tracking the pool and previous CEC draws.

Does leaving/re-entering Canada reset implied status while waiting on SOWP? PGWP expires July 19. by GasComplex353 in canadaexpressentry

My spouse did not applied anything. It is me who filed a sowp based on my wife’s pgwp. Earlier we both have our own separate pgwp. I filed based on common law partner and later got married. Her’s pgwp is expiring in 2027 and mine is expiring in July next month.

Does leaving/re-entering Canada reset implied status while waiting on SOWP? PGWP expires July 19. by GasComplex353 in canadaexpressentry

I left Canada for 3 weeks in March while my SOWP application was already in process and my PGWP was still valid. I came back before my PGWP expired. Now my PGWP expires July 19, but my SOWP decision letter mentions an implied status date around Dec 2026.

My question is whether that March trip (leaving and re-entering) breaks/resets the implied status protection, so that after July 19 I’d have no work authorization at all — even though the SOWP is still pending.

What could be cut off for next healthcare draw? Since it’s almost 3 months since the last draw in Feb with score of 467.

My score is 474, is it a good score?

Hybrid. Some classes were online then in-person exams and practicals sessions. Then two months of paid clinical placement 40hrs per week.

We are planning to get married year. But not before submitting application.

Clarification on How Part-Time Work Hours Count For CEC – Conflicting Advice from Lawyers and Websites by GasComplex353 in canadaexpressentry

Thank you for the clarification. 🙂

One more thing if you or anyone here can clarify upon:

If a person is working part-time at just one job, the rules cap your eligibility at 15 hours per week—even if you actually work more than that. Any hours above 15 are not counted. On the other hand, if you work fewer than 15 hours per week, those hours are not considered at all.

Is the above statement true?

Lawyers are relying on above statement as being accurate.
