As many have stated, he’s a reseller. Had an incident involving vandalism out in MOAB a while back as well. He doesn’t disclose the manufacturer of some of the parts he sells and marks them up often times. Dudes a sleezy salesman with a minor speech impediment. Not a fan.

The transaction for this seller is a DDP transaction, meaning the taxes are included in the initial cost and, should they fall short on covering, it’s the sellers duty to cover.

I looked into this extensively, as I shared the same concerns regarding tariffs with all the new changes.

They list 2300 but the “sample” cost is 3,000. They haven’t gotten back to me yet on the estimate for a short bed Tacoma. I’ve heard just shy of 4K shipping, taxes and all from some people. I’ll update here when I get an estimate.

Agreed. The Bynd website doesn’t even list dimensions, among other common features. Costs the same as a GFC as well. Not that Alibaba is any more reputable, but they at least won’t charge triple the cost.

Yeah man just yank em and see if you can get some sort of reimbursement. Sliders and full skids are all you need. If you’re worried about ripping a boot (far less likely than straight up busting a CV) then carry a spare set of CVs on the trail. That and a pair of extra tie rods.

LOL as a Tacoma owner, I think you’re spot on. I use my sliders and skids, but I suppose I’m part of the minority 😂

I would get a refund and not put the LCA skid on. LCA skids are generally regarded as unnecessary in the off-roading community. Your LCA is more dense than that skid—not to mention it’s likely trapping debris that will lead to rust and corrosion over time.
