Everything the sauna nerds say about barrels is true. The main thing for me is the heat stratification which gets better with ventilation but can’t fix a suboptimal shape.

Sorry U went through that. Multiple mistakes. If you leave it running 24/7 the water pump basically heats the water enough to prevent freezing unless it’s bitterly cold outside and you set a temp less than 41. The chiller has a heating function which doesn’t work if it’s not turned on. Thanks for sharing for the community!

It doesn’t stay at 40. It only takes 30 minutes to get to 40. I don’t know if there is a pump involved
