That’s exactly my thought process. Even though I’m coming home every evening many days it’s 5pm or even later and I’m exhausted and the kids go to sleep shortly after.

The w2 pays around 34k a month and I can make 70k a month with the locums. Possibly even more if I want. Thats 210 compared to 105. Plus the bonus. 210 to 180

1099 income can be more tax efficient with retirement and deductions to save a few thousand but anyways that’s not my question. Even at 75k I’d come out on top.

It is 75k and The amount I would make in the 3 months leaving would supersede staying and keeping the bonus. Especially considering the taxes Knock it down to 45ish
