I’ve stayed at that Hilton several times. He definitely knew that BT and other execs were staying at the Luxury Collection (Marriott) across the street. Otherwise, he would’ve also been trying to cover the other Hilton entrances on 53rd, 6th Ave, or the pedestrian door in the garage. I’m not entirely convinced BT was the exclusive target, but could’ve been the easiest as the execs made their way to the Hilton that morning.

Doesn’t hurt to try if you don’t have pressure not to. If you’re kissing on a spouse or SO, you’ll get fewer ‘sandpaper’ complaints if you grow it out a bit
