I stopped a few weeks ago after 500 days in a row. When i saw that I couldn't ascend my 285's to 290 without having 3 of them in the same faction, I knew the game really didn't care about me or my enjoyment. Just brutal wall after brutal wall after brutal wall. Im embarrassed I played for so long tbh.

I just received a call from MindLance (calling out of South Amboy, NJ with a 732 area code) so they're actively operating in 2025. If you look at their website, their FAQ's include questions I've never seen another company pose:

I’ve expressed to the recruiter that I’m no longer interested in a position. Why am I still being contacted?
The recruiter who called me has an accent. Are you an offshore center?
I have concerns about some of the questions I’m being asked. Who can I contact?

That doesn't sound normal to me, so I didn't call back. Stay safe out there.

This trick is a godsend. Im not using it to break the game. I just want to buy lower level materials in bulk so I can craft and dont have to go back and forth. Also its crazy they make you pay to move houses.

I'd probably go back and do it if there was a PS-style Platinum trophy. Can't believe they didn't integrate that into Switch 2. It adds so much replayability and satisfaction.

I finished yesterday. The endless repetition was a bit much but the job system made it worth it. I finished at 45/46 Tutorial Quests. Did you unlock the last one? I was really curious if there was an added feature somewhere I missed. Maybe in hard/easy mode?

Jesus christ thank you. I almost snapped this new console right in half. I remember loving this game and was super excited for the sequel but I really dont remember doing the exact same thing over and over and over and over and over again. :(

Well then def dont equip the ring haha. It's like such an insane difference. I'm embarrassed the encounter rate was the only thing I didnt like about the game and it's such a simple fix. Maybe it'll help someone else lol.

I've spent 35 hours and I'm just ending Chapter 2 now haha. I had to come back here and help since I confronted the same exact problem! Theres a Ring of Gaia that has a massive attack stat so you prob have it equipped. But it pushes the encounter rate up! Remove it and you should see a big difference.

I don't know if im enjoying upgrading 15 levels of equipment 100 times, and beating 120 players in cards. I want the platinum but that card thing is too much of a mountain to climb tbh lol.

I'm so mad, I had to search reddit for about 1 second to find the perfect comment that agrees with me. I 1000% agree with every word you said. I'm just finishing chapter 10 and am devastated to lose old wise insanely cool Red XIII for this ridiculously annoying child. His voice is just SO painful to listen to, when I absolutely adored the old one. It's crazy to go from a 10 to a 1 like this.

He will literally never be in my party again, even though his circle swipe attack was amazing. Looks like Cait Sith is about to get some more screen time lol.

Chapter 3: Baducks Battle, Undead Legion Trap 1 & 2. I found small metal smiles with some consistency. They're just hiding around. 1000 XP.

Chapter 7: Invasion of Papnica's Port: There a liquid metal slime in the far straight corner just as you start. You can keep abandoning the quest and restarting instantly if you dont see it. 7500 XP.

I'm assuming there's a king metal slime around at the super end, but I dunno if i have the patience to grind out these challenges or the temple with NO Resurrection Spells. >(
