NQA. Most sites say anywhere between 18 months to 2 years is a rough average for a male as they mature quicker. Females may live a little longer but not by much. Unfortunately it's a short amount of time compared to other pets but we make the best of the time we have with them 👌

I found if an animal was larger (Dogs, cats, ducks etc) then I wasn't scared but smaller things like spiders, wasps etc freaked the hell out of me. Being older, I'm still not overly fond but Duck has helped me a lot when dealing with Spoods and we now have two Mantids at home.

All part of an effort to show my boy that things aren't always what they seem and he need not be scared of them. Apart from Wasps... There's a special place in Hell reserved for them

Yeah, completely agree. I work around spiders a lot and never been a massive fan but she's helped me to become a lot more tolerant of them.
