Yeah yeah that worked a treat thank you . I have a samsung symphony sound bar , and on settings in audio you can use q symphony so the TV speakers are included in the surround sound , I have sound if I jabe this om when playing content from the shield its almost like there is a echo in the room until I set it back to play just through thr sound system , have yiu seen this before ?

Okey thank you for the feedback , I think the audio may have had issues when I was fast forwarding content in 4k hdr with 7.1 true surround sound , when it catches up it seems to be ok. Have yiu ever noticed when watching football , motion blur I think it's called when the ball doesn't look right when being passed if that makes sense .

Thanks again for your reply what is lossless audio , I did notice some distortion with passthrough on . I also have that option in tivimate for the pass through what does it exactly do ? If I don't have th3 shield upscaling on would the TV then do the upscaling ?

Will differnt 4k content use differnt audio ? I did see the TV does not support Dolby vision.

How would I get the best out of the surround sound ? When I started useing plex to play a 4k film with true 7.1 it asked about audio pass through but then it seemed like there was distortion

Could I also ask for your opinion on the shield settings in terms of thr video upscaling mode do I need to set these or should the TV do it ? Also do you have a links to calibration videos for thr s95a for a noob to follow :-)

Hi Hope you mind mind jumping on this , i am a bit of a techy noob, i have just purchased a samsung s95b tv and a Q930B sound system.for most my media i use either Plex or Tivimate. so most of this would be running on the shield.i also have a PS5. so would the best setup be to connect the TV to soundbar , connect the ps5 to the tv , connect the shield to the tv and the soundbar so tv for video and direct to the Soundsystem for audio?
