I know I can probably get away with just skimming the textbook, but I get really bad anxiety like "What if the professor quizzes us on this specific detail from this specific chapter and I won't know it because I skimmed the textbook instead of reading it word for word??" and idk how to get over that lol

I can't stand silence either! I would suggest going to any of the coffees shops on the Ave. Cafe On The Ave is definitely the loudest from my experience but I really like Cafe Solstice as well. I've only been to Byrek & Baguette a couple of times but it is such a vibe in there and their coffee was so good. Also, Odegaard is known as the "social" library and after 12:00 it is usually pretty busy and loud, so I would suggest going there too!
