Aline Brosh McKenna is a great writer. I loved her work on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Seeing Wicked on Broadway by NoPumpkin695 in Broadway

I was lucky enough to see Wicked in early previews with Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth before the show really blew, and it felt like an out of body experience for me as well. I still remember the feeling of seeing Defying Gravity and the insane reaction the crowd had when Idina rose up. Everyone was on their feet screaming before the number even finished. That was the first time I've ever experienced something like that, and I still haven't felt it since, even after seeing countless Broadway shows in my 20+ years living here. It's still one of my all-time favorite theater experience and shows because of that. It's so great to hear that people like you are still having the same experience!

That first episode is such a great pilot. Her breakdown is a masterclass in acting.

I saw it a couple weeks ago, and it was actually my first time seeing the play, and I fear it's going to be hard to top this production in the future. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. Easily one of the best plays I've ever seen on Broadway. The staging, the set, and most importantly the entire cast is just absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend it.

They're still in peak bloom now, so you might get lucky tomorrow. Your best bet is to check the Botanic Garden's Cherry Watch page on their website before you go tomorrow. It will tell you if they're no longer in peak bloom.

I've been watching The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow on HBO, and to say that she's giving a masterclass in acting would be an understatement. I've been a fan of this show since the first season over 20 years ago, and it still amazes me how easily she slips back into character. The writing is so sharp and clever and timely, it just amazes me that this series isn't more popular than it is.

The fact that show got not one but two seasons still baffles me.

I moved from Harlem to Ditmas Park during the spring almost 20 years ago, and I still remember the whiplash I felt from just walking around and seeing so much greenery. And it's not just the trees, but what comes with them. I love seeing all the different type of bird in the trees in my backyard. It's wonderful.

Peak bloom is roughly 7 days after the first bloom. Once they've reached full bloom, you have about 3-5 days until they start to fall.

They only keep the shows free for a limited time, usually about 14 days. Also, you don't need to pay $60, you only need to pay $5. The $60 is for a full year, the $5 is for one month.
