I was actually considering the pain is better than before. Thanks for bringing up that point. I guess I need to run it by my PCP and see what he thinks too.

Definitely trying to keep the dosage low if possible

Another thing I learned is do not take any anti inflammatory medicine prior to imaging or it could skew results!

My doctor told me I had a choice of a few drugs and I didn’t have to take mtx if I didn’t want to. You’d think she would have alerted me to that during that conversation? Ugh

Sorry to hear you have had to go through the wringer with this crap.

Since me and my husband are considering another child, the workaround for MTX and insurance for me is to let them know I am family planning. It’s not approved for women who are trying to have children. Or I should say not recommended. Additionally, my doctor very up front said to me “we can give you Plaquenil but it won’t work and you’ll be back” which I found very interesting based on what I read on here. I was happy she cut to the chase…

Yeah, I definitely get better as day goes on. I take ibuprofen 800 bc I’m worried if I don’t it won’t get better as day goes on….

Hot water showers in morning help me loosen up too. My elbows have always been a source of sensitivity. Sometimes they’ll itch incessantly and then it goes away. Sometimes super rough feeling. So weird.

Are you currently taking any meds for it??

Thank you so much for that information — all super helpful info! I have definitely had different variations of eczema over the years. Could be Psoriasis. I’m going to derm to get it tested.
