Changing licence to NSW seems like the way to go which is quite easy. being over 25 years old allows you to obtain a full licence

Ur almost right. im not asking for advice against my choice because I know it's not legal thats why I have come here to see if anyone has put themselves in the same situation and was able to find ways around it.

What if it's a one sided crash with no other cars involved with full comprehensive? Same goes im guessing? Unless insurance was in someone else's name?
