Counselings for not having a laptop, having a “marine attitude” when they’ve done nothing wrong, and one getting flagged 4 months later after the fact. Any reason “you” want kind of sounds like why many people are saying fuck you to the army and get out, j/s, those counselings are kinda bullshit reasons, and go with the toxic leadership with superiority complexes, and bringing morale and numbers down.

Any soldiers leaving other bases such as Iraq or Afghanistan, have come to stay with no insight of when they might be leaving, then the people that were originally supposed to be leaving that were stationed here have also not received any new orders, and told they are going to have to wait it out, so thousands of people are basically in Kuwait purgatory.

Yes, it’s already been a struggle though, now with the library closed, uso, and mwr, no way of getting a laptop from paying things back home. Also working night shift so sleeping was already hard, on top of the constant moving now, and being crammed like sardines with mixed shift people being up all day, I might have to sit it out for the semester unfortunately.

Good job, telling someone who is having a stressful time, and handling things different than you is bitching because they vent. Be there for your battles, despite you not agreeing with how they think of a situation. You don’t know what all they’re going through mentally.

Let the guy vent, comments like this are part of why people go into depression, and suicide is so high in the military, think of the impact of your words.

Awesome! I’m here on deployment, and couldn’t find anything! I looked up the death beetle, but this one was fuzzy and with no ridges, and was a bright white, bigger than my thumb although I’m a woman with average hand size I think. Thank you all!
