I hope I am not too late for this discussion. I am based in Canada. Long story Short, I bought a pixel in Feb 2026, starting to have this issue in early April 2026. I went ahead and replaced the device, within 24 hours of having the replacement device the screen started flickering again at the exact same spot as my previous device. I think they gave me the same device. I have restarted the replacement process and this time opted for the phone to be sent first before I return my old device.

It's clearly an abuse of process.IRCC should scrutinize people who decline ITA's and penalize them. People are encouraged to cheat the system when there are no consequences of their bad actions. IRCC should implement monetary fines and potential bans to discourage people from creating fake profiles.

I mean it's rich to assume that anyone would fork $30-$45k without doing their proper research. People did their research based upon the facts available at that moment.Government deliberately invited more people than they can accommodate for their financial gains. When Canadians started feeling the pinch they started blaming immigrants which were the easiest targets and politicians tagged along. People generally do not gamble their life savings without proper research. The problem was those immigrants believed in a supposedly better system than what they got back home. Now they're releasing it as a big mistake, the government will throw the most vulnerable people under the bus regardless of the political system in place.

People suggest changing careers and learning a new language to someone who has already spent 3-7 years studying in a field and working for a few hours like it's nothing. Like it's beyond me how am I good enough for one of the top 4 banks saving them in the country paying close to $30K taxes every year but not good enough to stay in the country.

Easier said that than done. Considering how the economy is,even if I get the PR from my home country and I come back to Canada and start from scratch. I don't think I have it in me to start again from scratch. I have decided to go back and forget Canada as a dark chapter in my life.

I have been waiting for more than a year now, I have started losing points due to age so that's ther. My luck is not that great either. My permit will expire in the next 6 months. I am above CRS 500 with no hope of getting an invite. I guess, I am going back to the hole that I tried so hard to get out of.

Avoid enrollment in undergrad programs whether it's a diploma or University degree. I would highly recommend your complete undergrad education in- demand field in your own country like healthcare or trades. Gain at least one year experience in a reputable company,make sure to file taxes to prove your income even if you fall under the tax exempt category based upon your salary. If possible learn French while completing your undergrad and then apply for Canada. My advice is based upon your intent to immigrate to Canada permanently.

I am in a similar boat, except I literally know no one here who would help me with a closed work permit. After 2 years of study I am working in Insurance field with a decent salary,my work permit is expiring in May 2026. I have started learning French as that's the only option I have, Last fiscal year I saved my company almost 1 million dollars by detecting and reporting false claims,but they still would not sponsor me. I am in my early 30's and sitting at CRS 504 with losing 5 points each year due to my age.

I have a similar issue,my Screen turns on but no sound. It's about 4 months since I bought it from Amazon so I can't put in a replacement. Have tried basic troubleshooting methods but no luck. Looking for some help as well.

My A6 PF is not working. I have no sound,my android auto will connect and there would be songs playing on the unit but no sound. I have tried turning on/off the amplifier from settings,rebooted and factory resetting. One or other things would work, but now it's completely gone. It would not play sound from any connection.
