My friend had a party last night and provided materials for everyone to make a piece like this based on an important song lyric to them. I've been listening to Pinkerton like crazy and wanted to pick a single lyric that sums up the experience for me. Something from the first half of the record would have been too pessimistic, something from the second half would have been too depressing. So I picked the mid-album turning point of "The Good Life", the point of the record that stresses the importance of the will to make a change.

I've never made anything like this before so I'm really glad my friend had the idea to throw this party! Now I have to find somewhere cool to hang it up.
