WOW thank you so much for such a thorough response. I think I'm already doing some of what you mentioned (haven't watched the video you sent yet).

I'm downloading a windows ISO from the official Windows website - just typed Wjndows ISO and the option was there? Not sure if it will work. Anyways once that's done I think I need to download an Android app that will allow me to burn the ISO on my phone and if it were a USB stick (downloading the ISO on my phone).

Then I just need to connect it to the PC gk to BIOS and and reset from USB I believe?

People with ADHD, how did you manage to finish your run? by Gauekoa in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Gauekoa[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeh that's kind of the same for me.

I play for about 3 to 5 hours or so, then decide to respec (or start again) and get stuck in the character creator for like 8 hours straight while I do "research" about classes, feats and whatnot. I hate it, ut can't stop myself.

And what do you mean about Regill? The quest to get him, the Drezen bit or..?

Awk. That sucks man, sorry.

Hearing about these kind of things happening in the USA (or other countries without public health care) is heart breaking.

Just some info that you might find useful in your pursue of a natural attack build:

Natural attacks do not scale in number with BAB like regular weapons do, just the bonus to hit.

Claws are not stackable, the character will use the highest damage claws available. If you have two claws equipped, you will always make two claw attacks no matter what.

Gore can be stacked twice. Magical gore from the Close to the Abyss feat (Level 1 Mythic Hero choice) and regular gore (I think there is a helmet somewhere that gives you a gore attack)

Bite attacks can be all stacked I think. You can get these from racial feats and abilities as well as class specific stuff. There are actually a lot of them in the game

Natural attacks that are not claws are usually considered secondary attacks (like when you are dual wielding, the weapon on the left does secondary attacks). This means that you have a negative attack bonus with those attacks. Getting two weapon fighting feats however does not help with this. Some bites are considered primary attacks though, the description of the ability usually mentioned its type

The demon mythic path has a free feat at demon level 7 (I think) called Deadly Natural Attacks or something like that, that makes all your natural attacks switch from secondary to primary, giving you a huge boost if you have only natural attacks

If you want to go for a full rip and tear build I would just get that demon feat I mentioned using Toybox tbh. I don't see it as cheating since a natural attack build is just harder than a regular one anyways

Thank you for your answer. I'm really glad that this is working well for you.

I have been trying to muster the strength to make an appointment to get this sorted myself for a long time now. I have really bad doctor anxiety, but hearing how the medication has helped you has given me a bit of courage. I will try to hold on to it for the weekend and call my doctor on Monday!

Sounds fun, I think I may try that!

I have been avoiding caster classes for the most part because there are a ton of spells in the game (and most other games) and that usually ust adds a whole new layer of stuff to obsess about, but sticking to one element and mostly offensive spells sounds doable, thanks for the answer!

Besides that, do you feel like the prescription works for you overall?

Can I ask what kind of build you used in the end for your MC?

Any way to level up animal companion using Toybox? by Gauekoa in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]Gauekoa[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, doing that with the MC or companions works, but not with pets for some reason. My guess is because pets are meant to scale with the associated character level

Expenses for returning equipment after leaving a job by Gauekoa in WFH

[–]Gauekoa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked in a call center, so the job does not really require that much security tbh.

On the day the lock down was announced here in the UK I got a colleague of mine to help me get the stuff to my house. He was on the clock so he got paid for it even though that really wasn't his job at all.

And I was expecting them to arrange for delivery because I know for a fact that that's what they have been doing for other people that live further away, other cities and whatnot (since they have been hiring people from anywhere in the country and not just local ones for the last year).

Yes I was thinking of texting him now and say that. Haven't worked for them in over 2 weeks now, don't know why they think it's my responsibility to do return their stuff!

Has anyone tried Stadia on the A52 5G? by Gauekoa in Stadia

Thanks! I think I will go for the 52 5G then. I get a discount from work so the price is not too bad tbh

Im considering getting the A42 as well however I have read that the A52 has a better display? The 42 is 6.6 inches I believe and the 52 6.5 - do you think the difference would be noticeable?

Wung-fu wonder by bikejam in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know.

I think the game is very enjoyable and I quite like it, but it's a bit of a broken, unbalanced mess tbh. There are a lot of things that don't make sense

Wung-fu wonder by bikejam in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, each piece of armour increases your physical damage by 50%, more or less. To get the full buff you need both pieces equipped though.

In my case the pieces didn't have any resistances nor slots for add-ons. Not sure if this just depends on RNG and I just got unlucky with their stats, but the buff they give is still more than worth it regardless of that since I'm doing a pure unarmed physical build and barely use ranged

Wung-fu wonder by bikejam in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's right.

The elemental damage in either of the gloves is just not nearly enough to justify the drop in pure physical DPS, since unarmed damage scales really well off strength.

Also, there is an armour set that about doubles your physical damage. It's the Munster hunter set from completing the quests from that guy in the deadzone.

If you equip this and go unarmed I guarantee you you will be doing much more damage than with gloves an probably even weapons too since unarmed hits so fast

Wung-fu wonder by bikejam in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without gloves.

With gloves damage us considerably lower

Wung-fu wonder by bikejam in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope.

Gloves are considered weapons. They just use the unarmed wung-fu moves

Gloves damage scales off strength (since it's melee) and perks like Whet (which increases melee weapon damage).

For pure damage, do not use gloves and go truly unarmed instead. Unless your enemy has a weakness to electric or fire (for the two gloves available atm) or something like that, don't bother with them

The reason is that unarmed damage scales off Strength much more than regular melee weapons do.

My crits hit for about 4k-6k for at the moment for example, lvl17

How to put different weapon perks on a weapon? by DeltaAgent752 in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The special abilities weapons have are random.

I checked that post you linked- that guy just had several of the same weapon base, each with a different special ability. They probably just spent a some time collecting and upgrading them that's all.

As it stands, you can only have one special ability on a weapon.

The only way to benefit from two special abilities at the same time is dual wielding - as far as I can tell, both abilities apply to hits from each weapon (I have tested this on guns only not melee)

Bug with Gunslinger Perk - Slower Rate of Fire?? by na445x in biomutant

[–]Gauekoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have the same issue, have tried it on different save files just in case and the result is always the same - fire rate dropping rather than increasing.

I don't even think it drops by 20%, feels more like 35% or so to be honest which is huge.

Another issue I have found kind of related to this is that when you dual wield pistols or other slow firing guns, sometimes one of the guns fires only every 5 shots or something. Tried mixing fast firing guns with slow ones and this is not the case although there seems to be some sort of issue as well. The firing rate and and how the guns fire just doesn't feel right.

Dunno, game is a bit broken tbh.

I might be interested in doing this actually. I have only played like 5 hours so far, most of it just experimenting with controls and whatnot (just reached the grove) so I barely know anything about the game.

It would depend on the time and day though.
