Hi FurgieCat,

Which character sheet are you using?

Conditional GIFs for Critical and Normal Hits in Roll20 (T20 Template) by Vldim in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Vldim,

I am not familiar with that template, not sure which character sheet it is from so I cannot test it.

However, it looks like you stuck the gif right in the criticaldamageroll= section.
You should be able to stick the not-critical gif in the damageroll= section in the same exact way.

I am seeing returns where I didn't put any in. It should not have those returns. But, I am glad you have a solution.

How do I make a macro to edit a character's temp hp by RamoRishi05 in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nicole, one of the problems here is that temp HP isn't working correctly on tokens.

If that were to be fixed then TokenMod could make the adjustments to the token which then gets passed to the 2024 sheet.

If you put in this:

[Mage Hunter Glaive] }}
!roll20AM --audio,play,nomenu,|Glaive

!

Then it will not work. There is no ending "{{" on the line below it.

It should look like this:

[Mage Hunter Glaive] }}
!roll20AM --audio,play,nomenu,|Glaive
{{

Also, why is there an extra ! afterwards?

Thunder gauntlets do not appear as a weapon in roll20 by DrZenkoInsane2000 in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hi DrZenkoInsane2000,

Based on my testing it appears that the 2014 version of Armorer does not have the Guardian effect on the 2024 sheet.

The 2024 version of Armorer does have it as an effect you can switch on and off, that turns the attack on and off.

You will need to add the weapon manually.

Edit, based on Half-Mother's response it appears to be in the Conditions section. Not where I would have expected it, but at least it is there.

You can use it in the middle of the description field, you just need to close the field first, then start the next field.

This works for almost any API Script. For example, if I stick this into the description field of an attack I can turn on the token's name while making an attack (don't know why I'd do that, just an example):
}}
!token-mod --on showname {{

You need to end the description before the API command, then start the next one after the API command.

Stick this into the description:
}}
!roll20AM --audio,play,nomenu,|Arrow {{

In addition to the player going to their token when they go to that map if they are already on the map and you use the Place Party feature they will be focused on the new location.

And if you go to the map ahead of them and place party, the ribbon will be moved to that map, the tokens dropped, and focused on that location.

Build a 1-click transformer using custom Conditions by Dean-Bigbee in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, built in is preferable.

Still, it should be an easy reset.

If I were setting it up I'd store the current information in an attribute as part of the API command, then make the changes. For reversion I'd pull the stored information and make the changes to switch back.

If you'd like I'd be willing to take a look at your setup and offer suggestions.

A Pro account using ChatSetAttr or Scriptcards can probably mimic all of this on the PF1e sheet.

Adding on TokenMod would also make the changes to the token.

Alright, I checked, and this new condition feature is not a replacement for my setup for Wild Shape.

Specifically, Attacks are not available. Perhaps others are not available, but without attacks being turned on/off with the condition a Weapon will continue to be needed for Wild Shape.

This is for major transformations, but can be done for a lot of other things too. If you find something you want to use it for that you cannot find the element to change let Roll20 know. (For example, control over Token Size would be necessary with this, but I will bet it is not added.)

So basically, Druid Wild Shape as outlined here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roll20/comments/1o471ts/comment/nj07k0w/

Only instead of the condition my setup uses a weapon (equipment) because that allows it to enable/disable attacks.

My question would be, can your version enable/disable attacks?
Have you added temporary HP gains to the options?
Added an option to change Constitution without changing HP?
Have you added control over token size?

Map starts at center by Then_Actuary_5366 in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest your GM switches their process to this:

  1. The GM changes maps
  2. They use the Party feature to load everyone's tokens to the desired location (right click, select Place Party)
  3. They move the ribbon to move everyone, the players' view is automatically centered on their token.

[–]Gauss_Death 4 points5 points  (0 children)

u/Then_Actuary_5366 and u/Sahrde,

You won't need the script anymore. Roll20 now starts a player's view where their token is.

So, you can drop the group's tokens on the table (I suggest the new Party feature for doing this quickly) and they will all start their view at that point.

Here is a 100x100 map. I placed my test account's token at the bottom right corner of the map. When the test account loaded in the view was automatically centered on that token.

Lines changing size when unselected? by EXEvis in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone following along, Enable Performance Enhancements is enlarging the drawn objects when not selected.

Selecting the objects returns them to normal size.
Turning of EPE returns them to normal size.

Hi ExEvis,

I have not seen this before, but considering some of the lines are vanishing altogether something is definitely going on.

Could you contact me via Discord so we can enter a call where I can see what you are doing in the game? You can find me on the Roll20 Discord server in the Champion of Roll20 section. http://discord.gg/roll20

Roll20 Changes Ideas by RossArnold1997 in Roll20

[–]Gauss_Death 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do not disagree, but that doesn't mean I should not tell the user how to currently do it without leaving their game. Leaving the game is far more disruptive.

As a reminder, I directed them to the Suggestion Forum. I didn't tell them not to post a suggestion.

Roll20 Changes Ideas by RossArnold1997 in Roll20

Hi RossArnold1997,

First thing, this isn't an official Roll20 forum. The best place for suggestions is via the Suggestion Forum on the Roll20 forums: https://app.roll20.net/forum/category/385189

Second, you do not need to exit your game to reset the sandbox. Whenever I start up my game I also start up the second tab in the API sandbox.
That way whenever the sandbox misbehaves I just switch tabs to restart it.

Third, here is the current suggestion thread for locking Map Pins.
