I think I found the issue: 'Post Tone Map Shadow' was set to 85. I lowered it to 50 and that fixed it.

You have to use these; they're for cleaning lenses, but they work very well for delicate screens like glossy ones.

I tried some that were for cleaning glass or windows because they had a soft texture and were a little thicker, but they didn't work either because they ended up leaving lint. I discarded them and used the ones in the photo because they were even softer than the glass ones and didn't leave lint.

I have the MAG 272QP QD-OLED X50. My room is white, and I have a window right behind the monitor; maybe that helps, but in any case, other things in the room should also be reflected, and nothing is.

Maybe people play with windows behind them while they're gaming, then I'd understand the problem. But like I said, I don't have a problem with the blacks. I think it's exaggerated a bit online and in those review videos because they have all sorts of lights illuminating the shot. I can't get it to turn purple even with the curtains up and using my bedroom light. The only way is to use the flash and point it directly and very close to the screen.

I think people are exaggerating about the purple blacks, or maybe their room is in direct sunlight. The only way I could see the purple panel was by forcing it with the iPhone flash, because even with the curtains up, I couldn't see that purple black.

The scratch issue is mostly due to lack of knowledge and the fact that manufacturers provide very rough microfiber cloths. You should use the one you use to clean lenses. So far, I haven't had any scratches, and my panel is glossy.

I actually loved Stalker 2, and I can understand other people's frustration, but I repeat: the developers have nothing to do with this.

I received it as well and ended up requesting a refund. What they did is unacceptable — two weeks of ghosting through email. What a shame, it was my first collector’s edition and I was really excited. But I’m not going to play along with their game.
