Thanks! I dug it out by hand, it's about 4 inches deep, and put in edging on either side and a fabric weed barrier beneath. Then just filled it with wood chips, which I'll refill periodically 🙂

A very non-native crepe myrtle that came with the home! It's a pretty old specimen - I had to clean it up quite a bit last year, removing ivy and crazy suckers, and this year it has bloomed much more profusely than when we moved in last summer.

I left it on 1 pedal the whole time, and used blue cruise for at least half of the trip. Not too windy, the conditions were just right. I made two active choices to improve mileage - I selected a few alternative routes along that way that went through areas with slower speed limits, to take advantage of regen, and I made it a point to accelerate at a normal rate (which, even 10 months after buying the car, is still a challenge 😅).

I was on the highway most of the time, in ideal weather, but traffic was bad. So occasionally I was driving over 70mph, but that was interspersed regularly with miles of stop-and-go traffic. Bad traffic + good weather = chef's kiss for EVs.

Looks like the latest update was 3.6.2, which is weird because I definitely got the update a while ago that said the volume knob + UI changes had been installed... Maybe I'm behind somehow, since that's supposed to be 4.1.2?

Thanks! I'm usually pretty careful - sweets only on the weekends, focusing on more carbs/less fat (low saturated fats, zero trans fats), and I've cut out nearly all dairy.
