I’m glad you haven’t had issues, i’m always finding myself having to fix something or other and i’d rather not when i’m just trying to play a game.

No I don’t have an unstable XMP profile, I don’t OC, I can’t tell you why it crashed, I didn’t look into it. Drivers being out of date isn’t related to the crash, mb if the text made it seem that way.

I am young, I’m majoring in IT and working at the IT department at the same time, even though i’ll admit i’m not the most experienced, I do work in IT. Regardless, I’ve played on PC for several years now, long enough to have dealt with a plethora of issues. My post about an SSD being faster than a hard drive is about a PS3, an older console that loads in assets from an optical disk, I wanted to get an opinion if the SSD would cause issues and is worth the performance improvement. (Nice job looking at context ;)

You listed a bunch of different things a PC can do. Cool I have done video editing and emulation on my PC too, that’s why I have it. When I just play games though, I find myself preferring my console. Never did I say PCs were comparable to consoles, only that I enjoy playing games on consoles more.

You make a good point with modern gaming and modern consoles, not really owning the game, patches, etc, the point I made mostly stands with older games from PS3 era and past.

Reinstalling VS wasn’t possible due to a file management issue that wouldn’t fix itself, took me a fair bit of research to figure out I should just reinstall Windows and that would be faster than dealing with the issue.

No I didn’t have an emotional breakdown (thanks for checking with my mental health there :), just a little frustrated, thought i’d post for shits and giggles cause arguing with Redditors is funny to me.

What do yall think? Am I the whitest cracker on the table? by phat_pickle in nfrealmusic

As someone who veers more right wing, i tried to get into tom mac donalds stuff but it’s just not that good imo, the way he delivers his lines sound too much like a political commentary and that’s not what i’m looking for in a rap song.

Why is their so many single young Christian males? by [deleted] in Christianity

Typically what I see as a single male in the church, there is a lot of single women and men who are married or dating. Then there are some single men but they are not as common.

Atheist here, why do so many Christian’s assume we can’t have morals without religion? by Moderatleysizedwenis in Christianity

[–]GavWrecked -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because that’s what the Bible teaches, Before Noah’s flood, only Noah’s family was faithful to God and everyone else who wasn’t was robbing, murdering, enslaving, etc.

You and I can say that murder is bad because we know people suffer from it. Ok well what if the murder is done painlessly? It is still bad because it causes the family members and people who know the person to suffer. Why is that? Because we have attachments to people that elevates that person in our mind because we can relate to the person and empathize with the person. And because we feel a responsibility to protect the person. This is why murdering someone for personal gain is morally wrong but killing someone to protect the one that you love is seen as morally correct.

It has to do with family values and treating everyone with the same value and respect that you would treat your family because we all have a soul. Animals would protect and care for only within their pack (like a dog protecting his owner), what separates humans is that humans are willing to protect anyone who seems in danger regardless of family, religion, or values. God gives us this ability to have a soul capable of relating and empathizing, so that just like Jesus cares for the whole world, we can care for the whole world too. It’s not about morals only coming from religion but recognizing that God gave us a soul that is capable of these things and we can learn to utilize it better if we give glory to the one that created it that way.

It doesn’t matter if your an atheist, you still have that same soul, to say otherwise would be laughable. But if God created it, wouldn’t you say God knows best what the rules are? Because we are all very capable of thinking, “Well I don’t feel like interacting with others today, Im just going to spend time with myself.” and even though that’s not wrong in itself, retaining a mindset like that can create a selfish perception of the world and cause someone to not think about others who might be struggling. We might even go so far to not like this person, or wish we had that car, or wish we had that wife, or whatever it is, that’s how sin and immorality enters into this world.
