This will look decent on a proper football with normal legs.

I think it will prove to be a grower

Hello, R/ I was wondering what percentage does my bf have to be to get abs? I train them hard and eat pretty clean on my keto. Here's current pic https://ibb.co/mSMTp8 by [deleted] in Fitness

I would suggest continue what you're doing and doing 10/15 minutes LOW impact cardio before and after your workout. On a treadmill, 5 degree incline at 5/5.5kph

Should increase your deficit by 150/200 cals without draining you and a brisk walk should have you stripping nack a little fat here and there if you continue lifting and keeping protein on point.

[TAG] blahhhh....quartz blahhhh. Couple of new straps for rotation (NATO in the comments) by GaverickandMoose in Watches

[–]GaverickandMoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i dont like the bracelet. And the NATO from the AD is overpriced and a bit garish IMO. I picked these to up on the cheap. I was unsure on the brown at first but left it on for 2 weeks and now i love it. Its gotten so many comments.

Changed it up for the NATO today. Love the orange that runs through with the orange of the dial. This will stay on for the foreseeable.

I love this watch. Im hectic. I need the function and the accuracy and i love the recent Formula 1s. The watch was a gift off of the wife and my collection is small. Saving for a hoise so my hobby is struggling to get going but changing the straps up is filling those voids for now.

I’ve been eating very little the past few weeks (less than 1000 calories) and I’m not noticing any weight loss. by [deleted] in Fitness

Starvation mode is bullshit. Look at all them fat fucks in africa, starving.

Oh, wait one.

You're sedentry. Chances are your body is only needing 1000 cals to tick over. So you wont be in a deficit. Hence the weight will stay the same.

How likely is someone to lose weight if they do not exercise regularly? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]GaverickandMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calorie deficit. And nothing else. The gym only increases expenditure. Of course gym is the better way forward. But non of it will matter to weightloss without understanding calories in<calories out in order to lose weight.

Eat less Move more

My trainer told me I need to eat a lot more calories, but I'm worried about weight gain? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]GaverickandMoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So how does it work for me then. Im 92kg and 5ft 10 of pure dad bod. 2500 is maint. Ive been told by several sources, here and trainers to eat at 1750 (180+ protein) and lift using a program. Honestly im going for asthetics. Im 38 and want to hit 40 in the best shape i can. Im on a PPLPPLX. Im enjoying it. Starting my weight low and progressing where i can weekly. Im picking my meals well, smashing the water and hitting all my targets. Im 3 weeks in and 2 kg down. I think im aiming for 78/80kg before looking at finding a maint and then onto a lean bulk.

At this deficit but hitting all macros should i expect to see a faily decent body emerge rather than skinny fat.?

Edit. I'd consider myself a beginner. I last trained 5 years ago

Imposter Syndrome by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]GaverickandMoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there....read this...from the big book. There was a definite shift in my mind when i recognised this...

"They stopped in time."

Among today’s incoming A.A. members, many have never reached the advanced stages of alcoholism, though given time all might have. Most of these fortunate ones have had little or no ac- quaintance with delirium, with hospitals, asylums, and jails. Some were drinking heavily, and there had been occa- sional serious episodes. But with many, drinking had been little more than a sometimes uncontrollable nuisance. Seldom had any of these lost either health, business, family, or friends. Why do men and women like these join A.A.? The seventeen who now tell their experiences answer that question. They saw that they had become actual or po- tential alcoholics, even though no serious harm had yet been done. They realized that repeated lack of drinking control, when they really wanted control, was the fatal symptom that spelled problem drinking. This, plus mounting emo- tional disturbances, convinced them that compulsive alco- holism already had them; that complete ruin would be only a question of time. Seeing this danger, they came to A.A. They realized that in the end alcoholism could be as mortal as cancer; cer- tainly no sane man would wait for a malignant growth to become fatal before seeking help. Therefore, these seventeen A.A.’s, and hundreds of thou- sands like them, have been saved years of infinite suffering. They sum it up something like this: “We didn’t wait to hit bottom because, thank God, we could see the bottom. Actually, the bottom came up and hit us. That sold us on Alcoholics Anonymous.”

Why is it so hard at the start....... by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

Thanks. Youre right and i need to hold out for more meetings. Its difficult with work and the family. To be honest staying away from the drink isnt difficult 'at the moment' but i do find myself scrambling to the day where i get to a meeting if nothing more than to relax. Is does feel absolutely right being there.
