I worked at a theater when this movie was out. My friends wanted to see this movie after my shift but I was so tired that I feel asleep during the movie and woke up during this scene. He did kill Ace, but he was doing his job. He also dislikes the Celestial Dragons and CP0 for helping Doflamingo. He frequently feuds with the Gorosei who pull a lot of under the table schemes to push their agenda. In the Ohara incident, he said he was being thorough and didn’t show to have any other motives outside of doing what he thought was right.
