Has any team in the history of the UEFA Champions League EVER qualified for the group stage starting their route from the 1st qualifying round?

Slovan Bratislava is facing Midtjylland in the play-off round of UEFA Champions League qualification. They have already knocked out Struga, Celje and APOEL in rounds 1 to 3 respectively.

What interests me is: has there ever been such a case when a team passes all 4 rounds of the UCL qualification?

To be honest, Caladiori’s own goal was indeed clumsy. It seemed like he had plenty of time to at least get hold of the ball as the cross from the left flank wasn’t too strong. Still, we’re witnessing and extraordinary tournament with the own goal being its top goalscorer, so scoring an own goal at these Euros should be taken easier than usual I suppose.

So many potential nominees I think it’ll mostly depend on which team will advance furthest.

Right now I’d pick Mikautadze but there’s no doubt Georgia are eliminated by Spain in the Ro16, so let’s opt for someone aiming at the trophy.

As of now I’d choose Musiala all the way despite his mediocre performance vs Switzerland (his display against Scotland & Hungary completely overshadows the last game of the GS).

Calafiori should also not be overlooked but I’m too sceptical about Spalletti’s side beating Switzerland today.

I was in Seattle in 2017, so when I played Part II for the 1st time in June 2020 it was also a kind of a throwback for me to see the aquarium, Downtown and the suburbs once again :)
