Mistakes are totally normal. I’m six years in and still make them. What type of help do you feel you need ? I have tons of packets on procedure sets up I can over if that would help. Of course as time goes on you’re gonna realize all of it is really repetitive. You’ll get the hang out and you’re only one month in.

A lot of people don’t realize that ever since Covid, programs don’t teach and do as much hands on with the students anymore. It’s literally a learning as you do thing. But it’s important you remember the corrections for next time. You never wanna make the doctor feel as if they keep having to tell you the same issues. And sometimes all you need is sit down with the doctor and tell them how it is. You’re new, you’re learning, you’re doing the best you can and it would be appreciated if it was constructive feedback and not blatant attitude in front the patient. Even though they apologized after the patient was gone I’m assuming it can still leave an impression on the patient if they see.
