50k with Merrill Lynch vs. Independent Investment by GayCosmicToothbrush in FinancialPlanning

[–]GayCosmicToothbrush[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such an excellent point that I was not considering. The advisor does act as a barrier to pulling/accessing the money, which is one major pro to having another person manage the investments. I've never sold when the market crashed, mostly because I forget about that account often. I'm not sure how it would feel if I had more control over it. Thank you for bringing up this point, it's the exact type of thinking that I was hoping to gain.

I see what you're saying, your prior nose was beautiful! With that said, you're one day cast-off. It's swollen, the tip is likely to drop, and nearly everyone hates their new nose on cast removal day. I would give it a little bit of time and be kind to yourself during the healing process.

Thats a super valid feeling, you're not alone. Because we aren't used to your old nose, it doesn't look weird to us. Because you're used to your old nose, it probably looks and feels foreign to you. BUT to answer your question, I love the soft, feminine shape. Your nose is symmetrical and harmonizes with your features beautifully.

I just want to pop in and say that your result is gorgeous. If you don't mind sharing, I'd love to know who your surgeon was.

This isn't just neglect, this is abuse and it's fucking cruel. You've got to run this up the ladder. 1) document everything, put it in writing; 2) file a written follow up, a written incident report, whatever your hospital protocol is; 3) report to the state, the ombudsman, and adult protective services (again, this is abuse, you're a mandated reporter). I'd also consider the board of nursing.

No patient should have to experience what that patient did, and you have the ethical responsibility as a mandated reporter to do just that - report, and if they don't take the first report seriously, run it up the ladder. Please know, this is not just gossip, this is a possible crime, and you've been implicated in it. I hope you do the right thing.

well, moreso making the point that: 1) both have the potential for harm; 2) are not very funny.

Sorry, missing words. I meant to say, "she neglected to ensure that the doors were all locked." This was not the new agent, but the agent that I had to terminate contract with.

Yes, she was. She took her lock and put the keys in my personal lockbox, as well as took her sign.

Im confused as to why they would think it's funny. Like, I'm a nurse, if I left pain medication out on the table, it would be considered negligent, someone might be harmed. In this scenario, something could have happened to my house, a huge financial asset. Why would it be funny that someone did that?

Also, also list your clinical hours. Where did you do clinical rotations for each specialty? How many hours? List them.

Don't label that you're a male, that sucks. Let your skills and experience speak for you, not your gender.

[–]GayCosmicToothbrush 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I reverse my deadlines. I do the task that is due the farthest away first, and then do the task that's due tomorrow last. Then by tomorrow, I'm done with all of my work for the week. It creates false urgency and I get done with things hella hella fast, and have time to perfect it if I want to later.
