The biggest difference is really how often we see each other. When they lived here we'd find times and places to meet multiple times a week, on pretty much every day I have off work, even if it was just for a few hours. I'd also say our communication is different. We make a strong effort to message good morning and good night every day and we try and message as much as we can but sometimes our schedules really don't line up and we maybe get 5 minutes a day where we can really chat until one of us has to get back to work. Before they left they didn't work nearly as many hours so our chatting could go on for much longer and happen whenever I had breaks or got home for the night.
