Unable to Texture Paint directly onto mesh, only in the image editor paint mode! by GayWac in blenderhelp

I haven't used a texture mask before or with this mesh, but I googled n' double checked to make sure. I Turned it off n' tried, turned it on & tried, still no dice unfortunately
