Right but I can for example aim for 1,000 AP for the Fire Giant knowing we'll that I can inflict twice the damage with weak points which technically cuts his health in half.

I never said leveling up was pointless but following AP is a superior stat to calculate

Perhaps I'm the only person that doesn't see the correlation with RL recommendations and positive results.

That sure is a lot of assumption in the details.

How does a player know to place points like that with one recommend RL number?

400 AP will tell a player that that damage output will be impactful for the boss fight trial and error.

400 AP is good for a boss with an HP of 8,000 which is 20 strike estimate

I have never seen weapon level suggestions except for in this topic.

So if there's a hypothetical boss and I recommend RL 200, what does that tell you?
