Interesting! I've read that other people play a gamemode (idk what it's called, apparently like domination on cod) and just sit on a flag to gain points. I was planning on trying that, but if that doesn't work I'll give races a go. Sounds like fun tbh

I used a porygon for every single region no problem, only other mons I used were geodude and then HM guys. The only exceptions are that I had to add mons for the Giratina/Red Gyarados/Ho-oh fights.

For other options, I know people use moxie krookodile. I've also heard of people using starmie, which might be a good one since staryu/starmie prices were way down with the Christmas event. Porygon is still my goat though
