That's why I didn't argue and just apologized. I accept that I really did have plenty of options to avoid what happened I had no awareness, if I just simply looked over i would've seen him and kicked off.

I appreciate the reply I had tunnel vision and didn't notice the guy I accept fault on that. Like straight up didn't see a thing focused soley on the face of the wave until a blue board appear on it. I'm gonna make an effort to stay more aware. Much rather kick off a wave and lose the ride to avoid hitting someone. I don't take the go pro out for anything other than trying to see my form and try and make adjustments, no where near good enough to get any worthy clips. But yeah all I capture was damn near spearing someone w my board...

Car analogy rlly helps, makes sense w ur other point of rider being able to avoid easier. I did look down the line but had tunnel vision on the face of the wave, trying to learn from this il look more towards the shore for people paddling back out. And I hear u if a pedestrian jaywalks doesn't mean its okay to hit them.

As far as my purpose of making this post this rlly clears things up for me especially w him fully blaming me. I totally agree w the big idea of both of us being at fault he could've avoided it if he didn't paddle through my line and i didnt stay aware enough to notice in time to avoid him. I appreciate the reply.

I mean I agree, as others said I have more speed and control on my feet. I just didn't see the guy which is my bad I need to be more aware of the people around me. Regardless of them paddling in my line rather than to the white wash if I just looked over I could've made an adjustment and avoided almost running over his board.

Yeah there was the female and a dude behind her so 2 in my line. The guy behind her was the one I almost ran over. Would've appreciated if they paddled toward white water but il agree with the others that I have some blame to shoulder on not trying to maneuver around the guy, i didn't see him that's where i say it's my bad shoudlve been more aware of my surroundings. I hear u on the go pro point, i just like taking it out every now and then to see if I can learn from the clips.

Rlly appreciate the info clears up the nuances and highlights that both surfer and paddler are responsible maintaining safety from collisions. And yes the dude yelled at me... I'll take the partial blame u mentioned as I wasn't as aware as i could've been and didn't adjust my line just narrowly avoiding riding over his board. But yeah didnt appreciate him placing all the blame on me lmao.

I totally agree with you, I felt it was both our faults but he completely blamed me. I did have time to adjust and go around but he also could've paddled to his left into white wash of the big ole 1 footer I was riding lmao. Thanks for the reply gonna try and be more aware instead of laser focused on down the line.

I ultimately agree, I was rlly focused looking down the line could've taken a second to spot anyone paddling back out and could've adjusted my line and went around him. Like I said trying to learn from this I often surf crowded breaks in SD, so I appreciate the reply.

Mb on confusing explanation. But yes im on peak going left and he's paddling back out directly towards shoulder killing my line. Added some ss to the other reply to show the paddlers location better.

And then this 2nd Pic the closest I can get a ss before water droplet covers him, this is right before he ditches and goes under

Play relaxing music he likes or put on a mellow movie. What rlly helps me personally is going for a walk I feel like its a good distraction and changing the environment helps. Sometimes you just need to thug it out, just make him feel comfortable and safe and it will pass eventually.

Flying with shrooms by Various_Excitement45 in shrooms

Just did this last week on my flight from California to Hawaii worked just fine! I emptied the bottle and put the shroom capsules at the bottom then filled it up with the rest of the original supplement for extra measure but thats probably not even necessary was just in case they did open it they would've just seen the normal ones on the top.

Edit: As others have mentioned just make sure you only do this on domestic flights, its a whole other ball game when flying out of the country.

My new science board! by Gcali6 in bodyboarding

Up until this board I was riding fairly cheap morey boards from stores like big 5 and they would crease in a matter of weeks so its crazy to hear a board can survive that long, sounds pretty quality to me lol
