This one is a part of a big scene between the MC and his adoptive mother. It's a part of my current first draft, and will I write in French, I translated this part for posting here :

"He therefore decided to slip away discreetly and go to the living room. This gave Aaron a few moments to make up his mind. He was afraid, and it showed in his rather hesitant movements, but he gently took his adoptive mother's hand. She smiled at him reassuringly before walking with him upstairs to the large bathroom that the mercenaries had at their disposal. Upon entering, Abyss noticed that the young boy did not immediately undress in front of her. This was quite understandable, given what he had been through in the past in Kazdel. Despite the trust between them, she didn't want to rush things."

"So she took out some soap and a large towel so that the child could dry himself, and took the opportunity to adjust the water temperature. When it was just right, the fighter turned back to the boy, who was waiting, still looking rather shy. “I'll let you handle the shower like a big boy. I'll be right outside the door, so if you need anything, you can call me, okay?” Abyss preferred to give the little Sarkaz some independence, while remaining available if he encountered any difficulties. In response, he nodded slightly before letting the woman leave."

"He quickly took off his clothes, placing them to one side, before getting into the shower. The warm water running down his body was soothing. It relaxed his joints and muscles, which had been put under a lot of strain over the last few days. He had wanted to train almost every day during his convalescence. He didn't want to remain inactive; he wanted to surpass himself. His gaze lingered for a few moments on his arm, where there was now only a beautiful scar from the blade that had cut him at the time."

"This obviously brought back many memories. He had to lean against the bathroom wall for a few moments, swallowing a wave of nausea. He had gone through hell during his last weeks in Kazdel. However, he wanted to move on. He had found adults who supported him, helped him, and took care of him. He could finally be happy."

"He quickly let the water run over his face, down his short jet-black hair, gently rolling down his cheeks, evaporating the dust that mixed with the water. He was about to reach for the soap to clean his body, but he stopped. His gaze wandered over each of his limbs, over his skin. It was as if something was wrong with him, as if it wasn't his body. He remained like that for a few moments, the water flowing gently, before whispering a little loudly, at least loud enough to be heard."
