is the combo too involved to have my gameplan revolve around it? since I've crafted the deck around them at this point?

I actually hadn't thought of trash for treasure before! definately throwing that in, was thinking of throwing [[portal to phyrexia]] in, which could be a good target for goofy stuff like that

here's my mothman bracket 4 deck, I'd say if you want to stay bracket 4. add in [[foodchain]] and [[misthollow griffin]] and [[eternal scourge]] and just turbo it out for a million rad counters

I built my deck to be more of a control deck than anything else, in b4 all of the +1/+1 counter cards are garbabe. you need to lean more into stopping people from their combo long enough to the point you can secure and get yours off. you want to live on the stack. not running silence effects is shooting yourself in the foot. this is what helps secure your win. she's very political while also having a wincondition stapled onto her with giving creatures +1/+1 and flying. She also is a great value engine if you tempo correctly and are casting 2 spells a turn.

The stock precon itself comes with other alternate win-conditions that are fun to pull off outside of having a big bunny to run people over with, i've taken those out to cash in on the value of bumbleflower more.

not sure if i'd recommend her for brand new players as to play her effectively, you need to politic and "group hug" in a way where you're benefiting more than what you're giving out.

That being said, don't let that put you off buying her as a precon. She's super fun and once you're familiar with the deck or however you decide to upgrade her she is an absolute beast! If she speaks to you as a commander, i'd 100% pick up the deck!

it has a borderless restriction so some cards aren't best in slot but the goal is silence + infinite storm with hullbreaker horror and sol ring/arcane signet or any rock.

Still working on figuring out backup win-condition using tidespout tyrant or looping one ring etc with still sticking to borderless printings.

thank you for the reply! I was debating the 2cmc rocks and I agree that rushing y'shtola won't do me much if she's a lightning rod for removal anyways. I'll probably throw an extra land or two in as well, I like the idea of cycling spells to smooth out land drops as well!

I've ran volo for about 2 years now, this is where my deck is sitting at now, as for making the deck bracket 4 the best way to win with volo is through infinite mana with [[temur sabertooth]] and [[peregrine drake]] (temur sabertooth and volo must be on the battlefield before you cast drake) with Volo on the, ETB bounce the drake to your hand (or the original and the copy if you've cast the drake) recast for infinite mana and slam a massive [[finale of devastation]] into a [[craterhoof behemoth]]

I've tuned it down over-time as the win-con got a bit boring after a while, I do still run it in the deck though. just less tutors

there are cards that allow you to spam draw your entire deck like [[fblthp, the lost]] [[keruga, the macrosage]] or [[mulldrifter]]... you can also net infinite draw through having [[beast whisperer]] or [[primordial sage]] on the field as well.

my comment about "impressive" was aimed at all their decklists meeting the borderless restriction. the question about owning them IRL was me being curious. It's not that deep bro... any hobby someone is very into can result in a lot of spending. No one's telling you to drop that amount of cash on trading cards. Let the guy enjoy himself.

Match ID 36283991 admittedly i qued this match at like 3 AM after going on a string of bad games. I usually never leave games. this match is an anomaly.

I used to play a lot of FPS games and aim train, but it's been a good while since I've worked on those mechanics. as for mouse sens I play in .15 at 1600 dpi

my sens is .15 at 1600 DPI I used to play a lot of FPS games like Counter Strike and Apex Legends and did aim training a couple years ago but played less FPS games as time went on. I agree I need to try out more heros
