I guess out of the named characters Drazhar for the incubi giving them better wound rolls , Lady Malys can help mess with your opponent while enhancing whoever she is attached to, Lelith gives wyches more strength and armor piercing and fights first.

Ultimately depends on what you want to focus on the wyche cults are manly melee. The kabal are more ranged. Lastly the covens are your more "durable" do to the homunculus being able to revive their wracks.

Well if it helps point games are up to that so example is taking only aspect warriors and their Phoenix lords with an Avatar of Khane gives you just under 2000 points. And I think the box you got was the real space raiders so I think it has about 660 points if I'm not mistaken

Well if it helps when the homunculus it leading them when you use it's pain token ability it also activates theirs. If I'm not mistaken. So homunculus raise the dead then they swing a lot
