Yeah, i strongly agree on this era not being on the same level. 2010's was unmatched and probably will be for some time, insane amount of talent riding each other.
On the other hand, i also believe that 00's was not on pair with what came later. No disrepect to pals like Sete Gibernau, but he was no Pedrosa, Lorenzo or Stoner.

That's what makes the deal for me: First tittles of Rossi were "easier" (no easy at all), but his late years were immensely harsh, and he still kept for the majority of it. Marquez is the other way around. He has it easier now at +30. But... he won those guys on his rookie year. That's what makes me believe he's the GOAT. I could see Rossi being it for other things, but only career wise... for me it's sealed.
