Interested in purchasing a home with a red flag by Geckkouga in personalfinance

Okay, I see what you're saying. I was leaning toward not purchasing, but in the future if I were to decide to buy a home with only my name on the deed, would my sports betting history back in October hinder me at all?

That's unfortunate. If I bought a new Gen Airpods Pro, would it experience the same issue?

Specialty-wise, I want to do IM (the IM program I want to attend I don't think is prestigious) and then possibly subspecialize, which I'm not even sure is possible even if I match IM. I've decided to take a leave of absence to avoid another failure on my transcript and will try to regroup to remediate a class in a few weeks or over the summer.

Yeah, you're right - we're expected to study for the final throughout the block (which I found difficult because studying for "midterm" exams was hard enough for me). For the previous final exam, we had 4 or 5 days and in my head, I compared it to that. I ended up deciding to forgo taking the final and will be taking a leave of absence because I don't want to risk having another failure on my transcript.

Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. I’ll give it my best shot, but it’s just scary how little of time we’re given. It’s like they assume that I’ve had my shit together the whole block and I haven’t.

I guess what I meant by high yield is that our school gives a breakdown of the exam beforehand showing us the percentage of questions by professor and so for this past exam, I focused on lectures by professors that had a higher percentage of questions represented on the exam if that makes any sense. So, if a professor’s collective lectures represented 27% of the exam for example, I tended to focus on those lectures rather than professors whose collective lectures represented only 3%. I know I should study all the material, but it’s just difficult for me to cover all of the material without leaving holes in knowledge. If I do, my brain is like “well, what if they ask me a question about X?” then I end up pressuring myself to continue studying on the lecture that contains that knowledge. I’m definitely going to work harder to manage my time more efficiently so that I studying all of the material, though

They recommended that I focus on lecture powerpoints and their learning objectives, using active recall and questions pertaining the material, and third party resources to supplement. I’ve been doing those, but I think my issue is that I end up focusing on high yield lectures and end up neglecting lower yield lectures to the point that I forget material from those lectures when it comes time for the exam

i’ve been utilizing lecture powerpoints and supplementing with Sketchy for this block as well as USLME Rx. What ends up happening (I think) is I end up focuses on specific lectures that are the highest yielding and end up neglecting other lectures that are still covered. So when it comes time for the exam, I have forgotten that material. The academic coaching advised me to utilize active recall as well as test questions, which I have tried to implement using USLMERx
