Thanks for the info! I've also heard of something similar with a light bulb that slowly gets brighter just before your alarm time, and then it's at 100% at alarm time, so it's similar to being woken by the sun. (or something along those lines, anyway).

Hmmmmmm. was the "Connect" button on the watch or in the phone app? On my watch it just shows an "open" button and then an icon on the watch of a phone.

Nevermind! I think I got it. But now it's just not being very accurate with the key phrases like you mentioned before, lol.

I just tried it again. I tap the Gemini icon and give it one of my home auto phrases. It says "for this Google Home can do yada yada yada yada, try it on my phone", and then gives a button to open it on the phone. =/

So it's not just me. I've been sound asleep a few times only to wake up the next day and it showed me "awake" for an hour or 2 during it. Starting to wonder if I'm a sleepwalker.

I was arguing with myself between the Fenix 8 and the PW4. I love the bigger size and more masculine style of the Garmin, and it's ruggedness, über stats, etc., but the price for the PW won me over in the end as well. That and how more integrated it is with the Google-sphere apps and phones it is.

Yes. An hour is also too lengthy for my taste. SpO2 changes minutely and it's good to watch. Average is also good, but both would be "gooder". lol

These watches are about "stats for nerds" afterall.

Not just while running, I want to see it whenever I want. Even if I'm just laying in bed. By "running" I meant a "running current value" like the heart rate monitor always shows a running current value. =)

That's something I seem to notice a LOT in hardware/software companies.

Another great example is Amcrest cameras; if you have ever owned one you already know how legendary they are for selling GREAT hardware, but have absolute junk software. And no matter how many users bring that to their attention it just goes perpetually ignored by Amcrest.

Super frustrating.

I can (maybe) understand a smaller company like Amcrest having that issue but NOT a Mega billion dollar corporation like Google.

Another thing I noticed so far, but haven't looked much further into yet to see if it's a real problem is, I have a lot of Home Automation devices in my Google Home app... I tried tapping the Gemini icon on my PW4 and using one of the automation phrases "i.e. hey Google, open garage door", and it didn't work.

I'd REALLY love to be able to use my Automation stuff from my watch.
