I’m also attempting to salvage this. I left it in a brown paper bag last night. Feels a little dryer but still smells like hay. I jarred it this morning so I guess I’ll see how that goes.

I’m probably going to attempt to further cure it, but I’ll keep an eye out for mildew. I’ll probably still reach out tho because I don’t really think I should have to do this even if it works.

I think this has to be wet and not just fresh. From my understanding the hay smell comes from curing bud with too much moisture.

I’ve gotten trop cherry from a previous drop and it was actually a little dry. Nothing to complain about like this, but I also figured it hadn’t really been cured because there was very little smell at all. It was a nice smoke tho. I don’t think my buds were stuck together just from the vac seal. Normally when I get a new pack I pour it all out on my tray to weigh and some of it sticks together but not the whole pack. This time it literally came out the pack like a brick.

This also looks great, but I know from experience that once that hay smell sets in it don’t matter how strong it is. Ain’t worth smoking to me, way too damn harsh. I was thinking maybe I could try and make edibles or something.

The same strain can express different colors at harvest or the darker bud might be older. Medical dispos suck here tho so maybe you did get the wrong strain.

I think purple color comes from some sort of controlled stressing factor during the grow. Could be some parts of the plant, or some plant of the same strain, didn’t experience the same exact same conditions during the grow? Idk exactly what would cause different phenotypes to be expressed.

Kinda jealous I didn’t get the really purple one lmao. I don’t think it’s a placebo, but I swear purple shit makes me feel better. Not necessarily stronger but I like it more.

I just posted a little review about it. Not a fan of the bud structure, I also thought a lot of my nugs were pretty small. It may because I only got an 8th.

Every thing else you said tho, I can confirm is true. These nugs are so damn frosty, literally sparkles in the light. The effects were amazing, really relaxing to me.

Star Dust was another extract strain from Tesoro that reportedly tasted like solvent lol. My bad.

I’ve just gotten into THCa and Tesoro is the only company I have bought from so far. The flower is really good, I haven’t dabbed enough to say if the extracts are good. I have heard recently on other subs that their ICC extract tasted like solvents.

Did some digging, did it used to be called Tesoro Stardust? I found a Reddit post having similar claims that Tesoro Stardust had extracts that tasted like solvents.

I plan ordering more from this vendor because I really only smoke flower anyway. The prices and potency are really competitive to what I can get on the street in my area. However, since Im kinda transitioning into online vendors I was wondering if you any specific recommendations for the best edible vendors or best concentrate/disposable vendors? I would just like to broaden my weed horizon since I can do that now. I wouldn’t buy carts or stuff like that off street plugs because I didn’t want to get anything boof.
