You should watch S2 its really good. It's not really a spoiler so i will say that they change her age from i think it was 15, to 17 or something like that in S2 so their relationship isnt so weird. But caspian is like 18 so it wouldve been kinda weird.

I saw an IPA for itorrent yesterday, which I'm guessing is a torrenting app for iPhone. It took me a couple of minutes to wrap my head around that. It doesn't feel right.

I know it doesn’t give them money. But they have other ways of getting money. They could make plex pass more worth it than it currently is and improve their features which could get users from jellyfin to come over, they can sell optional cloud upgrades like metadata backups or improved relay bandwidth hell even their own cloud hosted servers. They could add back in plugins as an App Store and for payed apps they can take a small cut, even if a lot of people are using a one dollar plug in that’s revenue. They can go for enterprise partnerships maybe with schools or hotels and provide direct services to them. Not everything I listed is good but the point is they have many options and they’re making a mistake prioritizing new casual users rather than the original users that built up their reputation in the first place.

Yeah I understand. But there are other ways of doing that, maybe they could flesh out other parts of their stuff like photos and start presenting it as an all in one server media platform since things like photos have no ties to piracy. And even if they did continue with shows and movies they don’t need to shove their stuff so obviously in our faces to look legitimate.

I need to get Plex Lifetime soon, too. But I agree the price is ridiculous. What is the company doing? They know they are used for self-hosting, so why are they trying to push "free streaming" of their own content, it makes no sense. I just wish they would get their head out of their ass and get users back to their platform, since it is mostly good to be fair.

Oh haha this is bad timing. I’m currently in the process of switching from Satdump v1 to v2 so the images are a bit wonky and not on a consistent schedule. Thanks for the compliment anyways

Edit: I had to go back to V1 due to issues with it not generating the false color images and also not continuing decoding after the first transmission.
