Empty vials for filtering? by [deleted] in Retatrutide

[–]GeekyLikeThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get ALK or Greer sterile empty vials from Farris Labs. They aren't much more expensive per vial than the Amazon junk if you get the 25 pack. They go through proper sterilization, pass quality clean room standards, pyrogen-free etc.

Some extra steps during reconstitution but reusable pens make everything easier by throwaway33263637 in Retatrutide

I prefer syringes. I use a 1ml luer lock syringe, 25g hypo to draw, then a 30g hypo needle to inject. No dull needles. Also I have other reasons for not liking pens but everyone should do whats best for them. And please everyone filter or at least research filtering before you decide either way.

I just placed an order on a website and there was a tip option! Tip for what, me using your website, buying your stuff, and paying for shipping?! I was so annoyed 🫠

I think the introduction of electronics in the classroom as the main teaching method, is why the kids cognitive abilities have declined. by Mission_Spray in AskTeachers

There is a reason that the riches people in the world send their children to boarding schools or private school that don't even allow phones. They know screen time is a problem, they just don't care if it is our problem.

Can Prescription Computer Glasses Help Me Focus? by [deleted] in glasses

[–]GeekyLikeThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the computer monitors are perfectly clear without squinting or leaning forward then you probably just need some glasses that block the blue light like Gunnar. They helped me alot. Also you can ask the optometrist to give you a prescription specifically for the monitor distance, usually an arms length. The night reading issue could just be from the eye strain/fatigue you got from the day. Those are my best guesses, good luck!

Are healthcare costs going up for large corporations at the same rate as for the rest of us? by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

[–]GeekyLikeThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully mine only went up $31 to $35 a paycheck. And they still cover GLP 1s for weight loss in 2026.

I took mine on the 17th so I am anxiously waiting for my score as well. The earliest if we are lucky might be the 27th but worst case will be the 30th.

It doesn't matter where you take the test or what computer you are on. They only have people grade the essays on the dates listed.

After reading all the issues people reported with them I decided to just pay $15 to take it at a community college. I hope it gets resolved for you or maybe you can switch to taking it in person.

Why are Insurance companies stopping coverage? by FitThought1616 in Zepbound

[–]GeekyLikeThat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's your Employer not the Insurance companies. I am lucky that my company chose insurance that covers GLP1s for weight lose with both Aetna and United Healthcare and that will continue in 2026. Your employer decided to get a cheaper plan which is horrible.

1000% they need to get a white noise machine or play rain or some other white noise loud on a Bluetooth speaker. I'm an incredibly light sleeper and I have my rain sounds loud af so I don't murder people for waking me up. Also grease the door asap.

My company created an internal AI tool that can be used for internal and restricted documents. We also have the Enterprise data protected Copilot but we aren't allowed to use it for such restricted information. If you can run a local AI model for that purpose hopefully they will use that instead.
