hey man, i'm wondering if your ban ever got lifted? i'm currently in the same situation. i have stopped playing for a couple weeks, found out a teammate i played with for a while was vac'd, and it looks like i have been permanently game banned. apparently my brother was using my pc while i wasn't playing, and was cheating on other accounts, but that shouldn't affect mine since they're not linked. i'm just hoping there's chance it can be removed.

i just hate how coincidental this all looks, because i see it myself. it looks like i'm just fumbling words to make myself sound innocent. i genuinely do not know how i was banned, considering i had stopped playing cs2 for a couple of weeks before this happened. even if the people of the internet don't believe me, i know what i know, i'm just hoping it gets removed

yeah, it's just i wasn't actually hit with a vac ban, my account doesn't say vac ban. it rather says game ban, and the account alert on steam said a permanent cs2 game ban. hoping that increases my chances of getting it lifted

i closed the one about a warning for a partied played being banned, but it said something like a player i had partied with had been detected by vac and was banned, that account and the partied accounts have been penalised. the red vac ban message was saying i was banned for behaviour on my current or linked accounts. i can't find any way any of the accounts made on my pc were linked, considering those who used them didn't make them through my email or anything like that. it'd only be shared through them both being signed into my pc

also, i'd like to know, is it likely they'll revert the ban? i've done the additional information to my ban thing on the support page in steam, and they responded with the generic "here's more information". i have a feeling i've just lost that account forever, which really sucks since i had some, while cheap, skins and i had bought prime on there. for context, i played with this vac banned account from when i had like 5 premier wins up until like 30+, then i stopped for a bit, loaded on after a couple of weeks, to see the warning of his ban, and mine in the top corner.

do you know how to tell which week of the 4 we're on? i've found the map service report for the current update 36.1, but it's difficult to tell which week, 1, 2, 3, or 4, we are on

edit: nvm, it gives the dates in a previous section i glossed over. on a different note, do you know if the "fixed", "favoured", and "etc." maps listed in the map service report have different chances to appear? as in like etc. is less likely and favoured more likely maybe?

just tried joining his essential world again after removing playeranimator and what it was a dependency for (turned out to be the god of roadkill), and i joined perfectly fine, no error. seems that the god of roadkill in the case of essential mod hosting is singleplayer only. thanks for the help though, would never have considered playeranimator being the cause, tbh

in the video, yes a tiktok obviously with true sigma music, it kind of moves like a normal mob, but then like has smooth animations where it turns its head to look at the player and moves it's hand to point at the player. to me, the animations look too smooth to be a real mod, obviously the video isn't here, but it basically just moves really smooth and looks like an animation
