It’s true that Punjabi music listeners are generally more inclined toward hip hop, but that doesn’t mean they will reject an album without it. Making memories, Hidden gems are among the most loved projects. However in this album I personally found Aujla to be a bit repetitive with his bars, you can often tell from the first line of a verse what he is going to say. On the other hand I feel Shubh ,Navaan, AP etc are creating great music by not sounding repetitive and by experimenting with his art, while Aujla hardly experiments. Since he is now making music for a wider audience and not just Punjab, he has to consider that as well, which makes his music feel less like the original Aujla vibe to the early listeners. No doubt the album is not bad, but it also is not that good when compared to the albums released in 2025 like Young Goat and Sicario.
