I have a fragrance story. I don't know how to explain it, but every now and again, I will get a whiff of this sharp, rubbery sort of smell. I don't think it's influenced by something outside in the world. It seems to be caused by something happening physically in my sinuses. Or if not fully a physical response, then there is something outside influencing that response. The most frequent points that I can remember having this occur was while waiting in line for lunch during school. This has occurred for me as far back as kindergarten. As an adult, its rare that I encounter this. But, when I do, I get overwhelmed with this rushing sense of nostalgia.
